Iqbal Azad was born on 27 October in Gujarat, India. His birth year is not yet known. He was born in Gujarat but moved to Mumbai. He spent half of his childhood in Patna and Mumbai. Iqbal was born in an Islamic family. He was more interested in acting than in studies. So he dropped out of school after doing 12th. He came to Mumbai to pursue his acting career.

Iqbal Azad had a long acting career in the television industry. His debut serial name was “Tea Time Manoranjan” in 1994. After that, he did many other serials like “Intezaar aur Sahi (1999)”, “Choti Maa…Ek Anokha Bandhan (2001)”, “Nanhi Si Meri Ladli (2010)”, “Nadaniyaan (2013)”, “Tedi Medi Family (2015)”, “Adaalat (2014)”, “Bepannah (2018)” etc. He was also featured in the 209th episode of “Laal Ishq”.

Iqbal is currently playing the role of Charan Patnaik in the recently launched show Vidrohi. It is a negative character, and the actor enjoys playing the part.
