 Karan was born on 23rd February 1982 in New Delhi. He belongs to a Punjabi Sikh Family. His father Mr. Amrit Pal Singh used to work in a travel agency. His mother Deepa Singh is a homemaker. He has a younger brother Ishmeet Singh Grover. The nickname of Karan Singh Grover is KSG.

He has been married 3 times. He has two daughters Shakya and Akira.

In childhood, his family moved to Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. His schooling was done in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

After that, he pursued a degree in Hotel Management from IHM Mumbai. After that, he worked as a Marketing Executive at the Sheraton Hotel in Oman.

On 9th April 2012, Karan got married to actress Jennifer Winget. It was a love marriage. Their onscreen chemistry was liked by the audience. But, they divorced after two years in 2014.

On 30th April 2016, Karan Singh Grover married the Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu. Both have worked together in the movie Alone and a few advertisements.
