Kalidas Jayaram is a famous Indian movie actor. He mainly appears in Malayalam movies. He is also the son of film actor Jayaram and actress Parvathy. Also, Kalidas made his first appearance in the film Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal when he was only seven years old. Then, In the year 2016, he made his first appearance in Tamil cinema with the movie Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum. He also appeared in the Malayalam movie named Poomaram.

Early life, family, and education of Kalidas Jayaram

Kalidas Jayaram was born on 16 December 1993. His birthplace is Perumbavoor, India. Also, he is the eldest of two children with a younger sister named Malavika Jayaram. He also completed his primary education till 10th grade at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, Chennai. Afterward, he went to Choice School, Cochin, Kerala. Kalidas also earned his bachelor’s degree in visual communication from Loyola College Chennai.

Career

When he was seven years old, he made his Malayalam debut with the movie Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal. Afterward, he won a National Film Award for the Best Feature Film in Malayalam. Kalidas also won National Award for the Best Child Artist for his second movie Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum. In 2014, he also performed in the impressions of Surya at the 8th Vijay Awards. Then, he played the leading role in Balaji Tharaneetharan’s subsequent directorial project Oru Pakka Kathai. However, At present, his Tamil movie titled Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum has been a megahit on screens. Kalidas has also been working on a Malayalam film titled Poomaram as a hero.

He was also fascinated with becoming an actor when he was only five years old. Kalidas’s parents were also highly successful actors in Malayalam cinema. He then amazed everyone with his role as a child star Vasudev in the movie Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum, who unintentionally kills his brother. Moreover, he did the part so efficiently that he earned National Award for the Best Child Artist in 2004. Even though he was enjoying a prosperous career but he gave attention to his studies. Afterward, he returned to movies after 13 years, with his acting debut in the Tamil movie Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum in 2016.

Apart from films, he has also performed at Vijay Awards and is presently busy with his forthcoming Malayalam movie Poomaram. Also, in 2019, he appeared in Mr & Mrs. Rowdy, Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu, and Happy Sardar.
