Karma Takapa has worked in many films as a director as well as a writer. In 2013, he got a chance to direct his first film named Thutse Kyuma’. Then in 2014, he worked in ‘Yahin Kahin Nahin’. After this film, he worked in ‘Mor Mann Ke Bharam’ in 2015. Then in 2017, he worked in the film named ‘Ralang Road’.

Apart from directing and writing, he has also done acting. In 2021, he made his first acting debut with the Amazon Prime Video Series named ‘The Last Hour’ along with Sanjay Kapoor, Raima Sen and Shaylee Krishen. In this video he played the role of Dev, for this role he came into the limelight and got many fans.
