However, the relationship persisted only for around seven months. Later, she met actor Rahul Roy in a party and dared him for 2 years. The duo got married in 2000. After being married for more than a decade, the couple mutually decided to part ways and officially divorced in 2014.

She comes from a highly traditional family, and his parents forbade her from walking the ramps in revealing outfits or pursuing an acting career. However, she successfully persuaded her father, and she went on to work as a model for Garden Vareli. After that, she appeared in a Cadbury’s dairy milk commercial. She modelled both domestically and internationally during her modelling career, which spanned the years 1993 to 2004.

She has also been in the television serial BPL Oye and in the 2001 film Asoka, starring Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
