Raquesh was born on 1 September 1978 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He started his Bollywood journey with the movie Tum Bin in 2001 which was a hit at the Box Office. He also appeared in movies like Heroine (2012), Gippi (2013) and several other films some of which turned out to be successful and thus, Raqesh gained a lot of popularity and praises for his work.

The actor has also performed in several television shows, including Saat Phere (2005-2009), and Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? (2010-2012), Nach Baliye 6, Qubool Hai (2016), and others. In 2011, the actor married Riddhi Dogra but they got separated in 2019.

He got an opportunity to participate in ads of some brands like Colgate and Wrigley’s gum.

After doing some ads, he got the lead role of Amar Shah in the Bollywood film Tum Bin in the year 2001.

The following year in 2002, he played the character of Gaurav in Dil Vil Pyaar Vyar and also played an important role in another film Kuch Dil Ne Kaha.

He has been working continuously in Marathi films since the year 2015.
