Intro to Sahil Uppal

Sahil Uppal is an Indian model and television actor. He got fame through Pinjara Khubsurti Ka, Brahmarakshas, Ek Shringaar Swabhiman and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. He became well-known for his roles as Kunal Singhania in Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman and Vedant Bansal in Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Sahil is from the Uttar Pradesh city of Noida.

Sahil Uppal was born in the city of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on August 8, 1990. He attended Ryan International School in New Delhi and graduated from the University of Delhi in the same city. Sahil has wanted to be an actor since he was a child. He competed in the Pantaloons Fresh Face contest when he was in college and finished as the show’s second runner-up. He moved to Mumbai after finishing his education to pursue a career in acting.

His career on television began with the show P.S. I Hate You, in which he  played Kabeer. After that, he appeared in Maharakshak: Devi. He later played Aarav Seth in Pavitra Bandhan. In Zee TV’s supernatural thriller Brahmarakshas — Jaag Utha Shaitan, he played Ajay. He also appeared in the TV show Laal Ishq.

Uppal played Kunal Singhania opposite Sangeita Chauhan in Colors TV’s serial Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman from 2016 to 2017.

He portrayed Virat Chopra in the Zee TV romance Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey in 2018. He appeared in Zee TV’s Piyaa Albela as antagonist Angraj Vyas.

In 2019, he co-starred with Vivian Dsena and Rubina Dilaik in Colors TV’s Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki as antagonist Vedant Bansal.

In 2020, he starred alongside Riya Sharma in Pinjara Khubsurti Ka as Omkar “Omi” Sanyal.
