Shreya Dhanwanthary is a well-known Indian actress and model. She received considerable critical praise for her depiction of journalist Sucheta Dalal in Sony LIV’s web series Scam 1992 (2020), which is where she earned her big break in 2019 as Zoya in the Amazon Prime Video web series The Family Man.
Early Life
Shreya was born on August 29, 1988, in Hyderabad to a Telugu- and Hindi-speaking mother and father. When she was just two months old, her parents relocated to Dubai. Dhanwanthary, who was raised in the Middle East and Delhi, received his Electronics and Communication Engineering degree from NIT Warangal. Career
Dhanwanthary, a third-year engineering student, competed in Femina Miss India South 2008. She finished as the event’s First Runner-Up. She then competed as a finalist in Miss India 2008 after that. She received an offer for a part in the Telugu movie Josh and Sneha Geetham shortly after winning Miss India 2008. With Why Cheat India, she made her Bollywood debut alongside Emraan Hashmi. She has also written the novel Fade To White.
She began playing the character of Zoya in Season 1 of the online series The Family Man on Amazon Prime in 2019 and continued it in Season 2 on Amazon Prime. She portrayed Sucheta Dalal in the online series Scam 1992 in the year 2020. Dhanwanthary appears in the Amazon Prime web series Mumbai Diaries 26/11 in 2021 as Mansi. With Nikkhil Advani directing and Emmay Entertainment producing, it also stars Tina Desai, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Mohit Raina in the main parts.
In 2023, Shreya was seen in a Netflix original series titled, Guns and Gulaabs. The “Misfits of the World”-inspired television series combines criminality with the wistful romantic stories of the 1990s. In Hindi, the phrase Guns & Gulaabs is named after the American hard rock group Guns N’ Roses. It became available on Netflix on August 18, 2023. In a series, Kumar Sanu sang the love ballad “Do Raazi” for Rajkummar Rao.
