Sobhitha Dhulipala was born on 31 May 1992. Her birthplace is Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, India. She was also born to a Brahmin family. However, she was brought up in Visakhapatnam. Afterward, she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in film and further her studies at H.R. College of Commerce and Economics at the University of Mumbai. She is also a trained classical dancer in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi. Her father’s name is Venugpopal Rao and her mother’s name is Santha Rao. She also has a sister named Samantha.

Sobhita Dhulipala began her career as a model and participated in many beauty pageants. After winning Femina Miss India South 2013 title, she also attained an auto-entry into the top 23 of the 50th year of Femina Miss India. Moreover, she became the first runner-up. She was also awarded Miss Stylish hair, Miss Adventurous, Miss Fashion icon, Miss Talent, Miss digital diva. Afterward, she represented India in Miss Earth 2013. However, she could not make it into the top 20. She was also featured in Kingfisher Calendar in 2014. 

Acting industry

Sobhita made her film debut with the movie Raman Raghav 2.0 in 2016. Anurag Kashyap also directed this movie. Afterward, she signed a three-film deal with Kashyap’s production company Phantom Films in July 2016. In early August 2016, she appeared in two films, Kaalakaandi, directed by Akshat Verma, and Chef. Raja Menon also directed the movie Chef.

In 2018, she appeared in her first Telegu film Goodachari starring Adivj Sesh. She also starred as one of the leads in the Amazon Prime original series Made in Heaven. Then, In 2019, she appeared in a pivotal role in Bard of Blood, an Indian fictional spy thriller web television series. This was also aired on Netflix. Then, she debuted in Malayalam films with the 2019 Geetu Mohandas directorial. She also got featured in the Dulquer Salman Kurup.

Afterward, in January 2021, she began filming for the Sashi Kiran Tikka directed Hindi-Telugu biographical Major.
