Sunil Grover is from a Punjabi family. He got married to Aarti and this couple have one child. They have a son, whose name is Mohan.
Career –
Sunil Grover started his career as an RJ Sud in radio jockey in the popular series ‘Hansi K Phuware’ on Radio Mirchi. In 1995, he made his TV debut with the comedy show ‘Full Tension’ which used to come on DD National. Then, in 1998 he mode towards Bollywood films with ‘Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha’ as his first debut film. In this movie, he played the role of ‘Barber Totaram’. From 2010 to 2014, he acted in the first 26 episodes of ‘Gutar Gu’, which was India’s first silent show that was aired on Sab TV.
In between this show, he moved to ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil from 2013 to 2016. In this comedy show, he played the role of ‘Guthi’, and from this role, he has gained many followers. In 2016, he played the role of ‘Rinku Bhabhi’ and ‘Dr. Mashoor Gulati’ in the famous comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony Tv.
In 2016 only, he made his first Punjabi debut movie named ‘Vaishaki List’. He has worked in many Bollywood films like –

- He has left ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ as he has asked Kapil Sharma to raise his salary for which Kapil refused.
- Sunil Grover accused Kapil Sharma of misbehaving with him while coming back to Mumbai from a flight from Melbourne to Mumbai. For this complaint, Kapil accepted that he had an argument with him. For this, Sunil said that Kapil Sharma is a great comedian but if someone corrects him, so he should take it in a positive way.
- After some years, Kapil started his new show with the same old cast except Sunil Grover. Due to this, Sunil Grover tweeted that he had not received any call for a new show. In revert to this tweet, Kapil replied that he had approached him several times.
