Vihaan was born on 9 March 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his primary schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai. He completed his graduation from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. Vihaan did his graduation in cinematic, performing, and media arts. His father’s name is Yogesh Samat. His mother’s name is Vanita Samat. Vihaan’s father is a CEO at Grauer & Weil. His mother is the fonder at Confetti Fashion Jewellery.

While hustling in New York to make a career, Vihaan Samat met many people. Through a friend, he met an aspiring singer whose name was Aaliyah Qureishi. They both found each other very compatible. Career

Vihaan started his career with a television series. He made his television debut with the show “Humans of My Bed” in which he played the role of Eli. It is a mockumentary about the odd encounters of an unsuccessful filmmaker who finds his calling in making a documentary series about his sexual partners.

Vihaan made his digital debut with the web series Mismatched. In this he played the role of Harsh Agarwal, an American-born desi boy who is stuck at a relative’s home in India. The sequel of this series, Mismatched Season-2 , will also release in coming time.

He also got featured in “Eternally Confused and Eager for Love”. He played the lead role of Ray, a troubled man who is finding a love partner who will genuinely love him. This series is a very important project for his life. As before that, he got featured in “Bombay Begums” but didn’t gain much attention.

In “Bombay Begums,” Casting Director Shruti Mahajan asked him to play the role of Piyush Chaubey alongside Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, Plabita Borthakur & Rahul Bose.
