Vivek Dahiya is an Indian television actor and model. People like him because of his good looks and amazing acting skills. He is popular for his role in TV shows Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Kavach – Kaali Shaktiyon Se and Qayamat Ki Raat. In 2017, he won Nach Baliye 8 and his wife, Divyanka.

Personal life

Vivek was born on 8 November 1984 in Chandigarh. He did his primary schooling at St. Stephen’s School, Chandigarh. He moved to London to De Montfort University to pursue M.Sc. in International Business Management. Vivek was inclined towards acting and was a part of his college theatre. He worked in the IT sector in the UK after college. During one of his visits to his hometown, a modelling assignment came to him. He won the Mr Chandigarh competition and relocated to Delhi. Initially, he took up modelling assignments for apparel brands and products. He did print ads and ramp walks. After winning the Manhunt Contest, he resettled in Mumbai and started working with fashion designers.

Vivek belongs to a middle-class Hindu Jaat family. His father is a lawyer, and his mother is a housewife. Vivek has a sister named Riya Dahiya.

Vivek tied the knot with Divyanka Tripathi on 8 July 2016 in Bhopal.

Career

Vivek made his acting debut in 2013. He got a role in the tv serial “Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera”. He portrayed the negative role of Rajveer Thakur in the serials. Then, he made an appearance in the TV series Yeh Hai Aashiqui in the same year.

Vivek did the role of ACP Abhishek Singh in the Star Plus serial Ye Hai Mohabbatein. In this serial, he met Divyanka for the very first time. He started getting appreciation for his acting skills. Subsequently, he appeared in Kavach — Kali Shaktiyon Se and Qayamat Ki Raat.

He participated in season 8 of the dance reality show “Nach Baliye” with his wife, Divyanka Tripathi. The couple won the show. Vivek won the “Most Fit Actor” Award at the Gold Awards. He has also been featured in many music videos.
