Adipurush is an upcoming Indian movie which release in the year 2023. It is a Hindu mythological film based on the epic Ramayana. Om Raut is the director of this film and produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles.The film features Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. It is an expensive film and has budget of 500 crore. Adipurush is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The shooting of Adipurush began on 19 January 2021. The shooting was wrapped up on 10 November 2021. Adipurush was earlier scheduled to release on 11 August 2022, but was later postponed due to the release of Laal Singh Chaddha. But now, it will release on 12 January 2023.

Storyline

The story is set in old times, i.e. 7000 years ago. It is about Raghava, the king of Ayodhya who travels to the island of Lanka with the aim to rescue his wife Janaki. Lankesh has kidnapped Janki. He is the king of Lanka.
