Indraneil Sengupta was born on 8 September 1974. His birthplace is Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He belongs to a Bengali family. Also, he has completed his education in his hometown. 

Career

Indraneil Sengupta started his career as a model. At first, he participated in Gladrags Manhunt and Mega model Contest in 1999. Afterward, he became the finalist. However, John Abraham won that contest. Later, he ramped for fashion designer Rohit Bal and also various commercials for brands like Tata Indigo car, VIP Frenchie underwear, Aquafina packed drinking water, and many more.

Afterward, in 2005, Indraneil started working in television serials. Then he made his debut with serials-

• Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam,
• Banno Main Teri Dulhann (2006)
• Aahat Season 3 (2007).

He also took part in a dance reality show named Nach Baliye season 3. Also, he joined the show as a contestant in 2007. 

Beyond television

Besides the television world, Indraneil also did various movies in Hindi and Bengali cinema. Also, his debut on the big screen was Shukriya: Till Death Do Us Apart in the year 2004. Afterward, he worked in- Mumbai Salsa, 1920, Janala, Aschhe Abar Shabor, Autograph, etc. Recently, we saw his appearance in web series like Love and Affairs, Abhay 2, The Gone Game, and Mithya.

Personal life

Indraneil married his Doli Saja Ke and Pyaar Ke Do Naam co-star Barkha Bisht. The couple got married on 1st March 2008. The couple also has a daughter named Meira Sengupta.
