Jayeshbhai Jordaar is an Indian Hindi comedy-drama film. Also, this movie is written and directed by Divyang Thakkar. It is produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films. The film stars Ranveer Singh in lead role while Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah play supporting roles. Eventually, this movie released theatrically on 13 May 2022.

Storyline of movie

The story of the movie is about a boy named, Jayesh Patel. He is an educated son of a traditional Gujarati sarpanch Pruthvish and Jashoda. He lives with his pregnant wife Mudra and his daughter Siddhi. Also, the family wants Mudra’s second child to be a boy. When Jayesh finds out that, his second child is a girl, he decides to protect his wife from his family and village. The story is about his journey, where he protect his unborn child and make people believes in equality son and daughters in society.

Release Date

It was initially scheduled for a theatrical release on 2 October 2020 on the day of Gandhi Jayanti, and then on 27 August 2021 and 25 February 2022. It was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. On 13 May 2022, the film was released theatrically .
