Shalini was born on 23 September 1993 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. She completed her primary schooling from Christ Church Girls Higher Secondary School, Jabalpur. Later, she completed her graduation in B.Tech. in CSE from Global Engineering College, Jabalpur.

She was born into a middle-class family. Her father is a government employee in Madhya Pradesh. Her mother is a trained singer. She has a younger sister, Pooja.

Career

Initially, she started her career as a theater artist in Jabalpur. She made her debut in the industry with the Telugu film “Arjun Reddy” in 2017 opposite Vijay. She did her own dubbing, though she doesn’t speak Telugu fluently. The film was a huge success and people appreciated her acting skills.

She has been featured in many TV serials like Man Mein Hai Visshwas and Crime Patrol. She has acted in many other Telugu films including ‘Mahanati’, ‘118’, and ‘Iddari Lokam Okate’. In 2018, she made her Tamil debut with the film ‘Nadigayar Thilagam’ .

Recently, she appeared as Mudra, a Gujarati mother, opposite to Ranveer Singh in the movie “Jayeshbhai Jordaar”. Her next project is Junaid Khan’s “Maharaja” for which she started shooting in 2021.
