Parampara Thakur is an Indian singer, lyricist, and composer who has had a number of chart-topping hits in recent years. She is well-known for being one of The Voice India’s Season 1’s final contestants. She is also a member of Sachet-Parampara, a well-known music duo.
Parampara Thakur was born in Delhi, India, on February 28, 1992. She had a passion for singing since she was a child. Her family was extremely supportive of her decision to pursue this profession as a career in the future. Parampara was inspired by her father, who is a professional singer. She used to share the stage with him.

Thakur finished her education in their hometown. Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi was her university. Parampara Thakur married Sachet Tandon in a regal wedding ceremony in Mumbai on December 1, 2020. In 2015, Sachet and Parampara took part in a singing-based reality show. They now collaborate to create music for Bollywood films.

Career of Parampara Thakur

Thakur decided to take her inner talent to a national level, and she entered as a contestant in &TV’s singing reality show ‘The Voice India’ Season 1 with her father’s encouragement and support. Her distinct voice quality and versatility wowed the judges and the audience, propelling her to the finals. She was a finalist and came in third place, after which she formed a music duo with fellow Voice India contestant Sachet Tandon in 2016.

They debuted their first composition for two songs in the Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha,’ titled ‘Subah ki Train’ and ‘Bhoomi.’

Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Yamala Pagla Deewana Phir Se were their next projects. Several heart-warming and super hit melodies for Bollywood hits like Kabir Singh, Saaho, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Pati Patni Aur Who, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, and Street Dancer 3D were composed by the duo in 2019-2020.

In the year 2020, Parampara’s film, Baaghi 3, was released in theatres.

In 2021, she also worked for music albums Iss Qadar and Chura Liya.
