Nikamma is an Indian Hindi-language action comedy film. The main cast of this movie is Abhimanyu, Shirley Setia and Shilpa Shetty. It is directed by Sabbir Khan. The film is produced by Shabbir Khan Films and Sony Pictures. Shooting for this film started in July 2019 and wrapped up in November 2020. This film is a remake of 2017 Telugu film Middle Class Abbayi starring Nani. Initially, Nikamma was scheduled for release in June 2020. But it got postponed due to production issues and theatres shutdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Storyline of Nikamma

It is an action fun comedy film shot in Lucknow. The story of Nikamma revolves around Adi, a pampered no-gooder who has lived all his life under the protection of his brother. When he meets Natasha, they found each other very compatible. However, Adi’s life turns upside down when Avni, a woman enters his and his brother’s lives.

Release date and availability

Nikamma was scheduled for release in June 2020. But it got postponed due to production issues and theatres shutdown due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, it is scheduled to release in theatres on 17 June 2022.

Shilpa Shetty

Abhimanyu Dassani
