Early life, family and education of Satish Maneshinde
Satish Maneshinde was born in the year 1965. His birthplace is Dharwad, Karnataka. He completed his studies at the Karnataka University Law College from 1980 to 1983. In addition, he holds two degrees – B.Com and LLB. He also belongs to a middle-class family. His father was a Karnataka-based businessman. However, he passed away in 1985, and his mother was a homemaker. He is also a Hindu.

Career
Satish Maneshinde moved to Mumbai after completing his graduation in law to become a lawyer. Then, in 1983, he started working as a junior lawyer under the famous and one of the top criminal lawyers in the country, the late Ram Jethmalani. Mr. Satish handled many high-profile criminals and civil cases for almost a decade while working with Ram Jethmalani. He also confessed his experience working as a lawyer in Mumbai and said, “I had heard and read of Ram Jethmalani when I was a school student. In 1983, I accidentally met him in the Bombay High Court and mustered the courage to request him to take me as his understudy. I was called to his office the same evening, and he agreed. I had the opportunity to work with him 18 hours a day in the initial stages of my career.”
Limelight
Satish also worked under Jethmalani for a decade. Afterward, he landed his first high-profile criminal case in 1993. In this case, he and his legal team defended Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt in the Mumbai blast case. The criminal lawyer successfully secured bail for the actor. This made him appear in the limelight. Moreover, he also represented Dutt in the Arms Act case of 2007. Hence, his association with the celebrities made Satish Maneshinde one of the top criminal lawyers in the country.
Then, in 1998, he was approached by Bollywood actor Salman Khan to represent him in the Blackbuck poaching case. He also appeared again in the hit and run case of Salman Khan in 2002. In both cases, the lawyer successfully got Salman out of the case.
Later, in 2010, he represented model-actress Rakhi Sawant in the abetment to suicide case. Satish was also the first choice of actress Rhea Chakraborty for the accusation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. In the same year, he also slipped into the hat of Special Public Prosecutor in the Palghar lynching case.
Recent works
Afterward, Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in October 2021, after the NCB arrested him in the Mumbai drug case. Maneshinde is also known for his other famous criminal cases, such as Chota Rajan’s wife Sujata Nikalje’s criminal case. Moreover, the famous disproportionate assets case of Mumbai Police inspector Daya Nayak. In addition, the bookie Shoban Mehta’s match-fixing case, and more.
